Veteran Eligibility and Priority 

Eligibility. Any veteran who has served in the U.S. military (including U.S. Reserves and National Guard) is eligible for an Honor Flight trip. Combat service or foreign deployment is NOT required. The only criteria for eligibility is service in the U.S. military. 

Priority. First priority for a trip is given to World War II veterans who have not yet visited their memorial. Next priority is veterans that served between WWI and the Korean War, followed by the Korean War, then veterans that served between Korea and Vietnam, and so on, in the same manner in chronological order of conflicts. 

Terminally Ill Veterans. Terminally ill veterans may be given the same priority as WWII veterans.
